Return Policy

At Crazy Hobbies, we want to ensure you are back on the track, in the air, or on the water as quickly as possible. Our Refund and Return policy is guided by the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Consumer Guarantees

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

2. Change of Mind Returns

We understand that sometimes you might change your mind. We offer a return for store credit or exchange under the following conditions:

  • The item is returned within 14 days of purchase.
  • The item is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging (including all plastic wrap and seals).
  • You provide a valid proof of purchase (tax invoice or order confirmation).

Please note: Shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of hobby products, the following cannot be returned if opened or used unless they are faulty:

  • LiPo Batteries (due to safety and storage requirements).
  • Fuel or pressurized spray cans.
  • Electronic components that have been soldered or modified.
  • Items showing signs of crash damage or improper assembly.

4. Warranty & Technical Support

Many of our products (such as Traxxas, Hobbywing, and FMS) come with manufacturer warranties. If you suspect a technical fault:

Pro Tip: Contact our technical team before sending an item back. Many RC "faults" are related to calibration or setup and can be fixed over the phone or email, saving you shipping costs.

5. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return or warranty claim, please email us at sales@crazyhobbiesaus.com.au with your order number and photos/videos of the issue. Once approved, we will provide you with the return address details for our Sydney facility.
