Our Story
Crazy Hobbies started over 15 years ago, right here in Stanmore — born from two mates who couldn't stop tinkering with RC cars in the garage. What began as weekend builds and local races quickly became something bigger: a proper shop for people who are genuinely obsessed with the hobby.
We've grown into the go-to spot for RC cars, planes, helicopters, drones, and every accessory and spare part in between. Our shelves are packed because we stock what we actually use — if it's here, it's because one of us has built it, crashed it, and rebuilt it.
Every person on our team builds, races, or flies. That's not a tagline — it's the reason people drive across Sydney to ask us a question. We'll help you pick your first basher or dial in your competition setup, no pressure either way.
More than a shop — Crazy Hobbies is a community hub. We host race days, swap tips over the counter, and genuinely love seeing first-timers light up when their build finally hits the track. That energy is what keeps us going.
